Alana Evans
Alana Evans: music and recording
Two documented singles connect Evans’s singing with collaborations involving Murv Douglas and Lords of Acid.
A public singing debut
Her public singing debut was reported as a 2012 collaboration with Murv Douglas and Lords of Acid on Pop That Tooshie. Evans also appeared in its music video.
The 2014 release report described that song reaching number three on Amazon’s Dance Chart. This was a chart position associated with the earlier single, distinct from a prize or a ranking for her next release.
Returning to the studio
Evans worked with Douglas again on Make You Love Me in 2014. She described spending much of the year recording and spoke about writing music and singing as longstanding interests.
In her comments, she welcomed responses from people who had encountered her through the music. The collaboration added a second documented single to a career that also included performing, gaming and writing.
An independent dance-pop release
Make You Love Me was described as dance-pop and independently released. The June 2014 announcement reported internet-radio circulation and availability on Jango at that time.
A wider release on July 4 was announced for digital stores and music services. Those are details of the release campaign; they do not establish which services carry the recording today.
